盛.衰 Wax and Wane

WAX AND WANE是一部表演藝術作品，內容講述了人面對外在環境的自我思考與省思的藝術，創作的一系列場景文字設計為:輪轉不休、一顆心，一個身體，自己的靈魂、四海宇宙、永生。
WAX AND WANE is a a video of a performance artwork. The work tells the art of self-contemplation and self-reflection when people face the external environment in the face of the external environment. I create design series of types to present different scenes in the film, which are : "no end in sight", "One heart, One body, Self-soul, a heart and a body", "four corners of the world", and "eternal life".



盛衰.wax and wane

文字結合了月亮的圓虧於文字的缺口。同時呈現陰陽的平衡與對立，月亮的盈虧形容劇中生命的日常輪轉。
The type combines the moon waxing and waning  with the central negative circle. It presents the balance and opposition of yin and yang at the same time, the moon's waxing and waning describes the daily rotation of life in the video.

sCene.1 no end in sight

scene.1的文字表現上以明體字的筆劃互相束縛與交疊，筆畫間的複雜交錯表現了劇中角色的掙扎。
The type expression of scene.1 is bound and overlapped by the strokes of Ming-style characters. The complex interweaving between the strokes shows the struggle of the characters in the video.
sCene.2 One heart, One body, Self-soul

scene.2的文字表現上以環型字構成輪迴的圓型，呼應劇中角色的思考輪迴。
The type in scene.2 is built by a ring-shaped circle that refers to the reincarnation. It echoes the character's idea of the reincarnation in the video.
sCene.3 four corners of the world​​​​​​​

scene.3的場景是宇宙四方的概念。最後腳色找到了自我在世界中的存在與定位。
In scene.3, I put each type in the four directions, which means the whole universe. Finally, the character finds her own location in the world.
final scene. eternal life

final scene.永生二字為角色經歷一切生命的盈虧後對生命的省思，如同自然的循環生生不息。
In the final scene, the word "eternal life" reveals the character's idea of life after experiencing all the wax and wane, as the endless cycle of the nature, in this video.
